The historic square of Dapia

The historic square of Dapia, located in the port, houses the old artillery and was the meeting place of the captains and lords during the Hellenic War of 1821. Today, it is the central point of tourist activity in the capital of the island. The chairs and small tables of the pastry shops occupy every available space, taking advantage of even the last centimeter, next to the cannons used by the fighters of Specios during the Hellenic War of 1821.
